Max Hardcore sentenced to five years
As I reported a few days, against all odds, Max Hardcore has been finally convicted in the ongoing trial against him. After many hours of jury deliberation, the adult film producer Max Hardcore, and his company MaxWorld Entertainment were convicted of 10 federal charges of distributing obscene material through internet and mail. Max Hardcore is a controversial porn actor and film producer whose main feature XXX is usually to engage in a series of violent sexual acts with young women who dress and act like preteen girls, but these are always greater than 18.
In 1998 and was accused by the state court in Los Angeles child pornography and distribution of obscenity. It was in 2002 when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the statute prohibiting adults portraying children in films and books is unconstitutional. Based on this ruling, the charges against Max Hardcore were dismissed. The charge distribution of obscenity was retained, but the jury could not reach a verdict. In October 2005, the offices of Max were raided by the FBI and five films and computer were confiscated. In 2007 Max was accused by the Justice Department with 10 counts of obscenity and has just been found guilty of all charges in June 2008 now faces a sentence of five years in prison.
